Game Synopsis

It's the night shift at Frank's local museum. Only a couple of hours left and he'll be able to go home and enjoy Christmas with his family. He's nearly ready to doze off and get through the night when he hears a commotion outside of the office. He grabs his baton, wrapped with some bright giftwrap, a prank from the other guards,, to go see what's going on. There, he finds dinosaurs and other museum exhibits... Come to life? And they're ready to attack? Frank should've just gone back to bed. But then again... He's got a museum to protect.

Game Description & Inspiration

This game was created for the Secret Santa Game Jam for a giftee. The giftee shared some of their favorite things including an enjoyment for horror, rpg, and art. For some reason, this museum-themed action RPG is what came to mind. Unintentionally, I guess I made Night at the Museum the RPG, but it still was a fun undertaking. I've never made any kind of RPG before, but it was fun to see what I could do.

Known Bugs

There are two bugs that I know of for sure that I sort of bypassed in order to upload the game, but I will work on them and get them ironed out soon.

1. Sometimes with the first room transition, your player may get stuck going "up" as they slide right and this will make you stuck. Try your best to be going right into the first hallway.
2. For some reason, when the enemies come from above and attack they can get stuck on the player and make it hard to move. I am not sure the fix to this yet but I will keep working at it. I've noticed it ONLY happens when the enemies are above the player
